This 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo was first sold in California and remained there until being purchased by the previous owner in September 1994 and moved to Utah. The car was then relocated to Oregon and Washington before it was acquired by the seller in March 2004. He has since added 20k miles while personally performing routine maintenance to the car himself. The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six is mated to a G50 5-speed transaxle equipped with a factory limited-slip differential, and work performed by European Auto Haus in Spokane included the replacement of the clutch, rear shocks, and CV joints. Records dating back to 2006 are included along with the original owners manuals, maintenance booklet, a Porsche CoA, and a clean Carfax. This 911 Turbo now shows just over 54k miles and is being offered with a clean Washington title in the sellers name.
Slate Grey Metallic (Q9) paint is shown up close in a number of gallery images. Some small chips and normal wear can be seen on forward facing surfaces, and the left side of the lower front valance is slightly separated from the front bumper. An aftermarket tint has been applied to the windows.
Stock 16 Fuchs alloys wear Toyo Proxes T1-R tires with a DOT code from February 2014. This Turbo is equipped with integrated fog lamps, an electric sliding sunroof, and a rear windshield wiper.
Grey supple leather upholstery covers the 8-way power adjustable front seats, and the car also features power windows, power locks, and air conditioning. A RennAire air conditioning upgrade and a Nakamichi CD head unit have been installed. The VDO gauges are operating correctly, and the odometer shows 54,312 miles.
This car was chosen as the 2017 Spokane Porsche Parade touring class concours champion, and was featured in the October 2017 issue of Panorama magazine.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six is paired to a G50 5-speed manual gearbox and produced 278 horsepower in US specification when new. This car has been modified with an aftermarket front strut brace and stainless steel brake lines. Much of the maintenance over the last 12 years has been performed by the seller himself, though some of the major work has been done by European Auto Haus in Spokane, Washington. In the last five years they have replaced the clutch and rear shocks, adjusted the valves, serviced the CV joints, repaired an oil leak, and more.
Creative Car Craft in Coeur dAlene, Idaho repaired the throttle cable linkage and a loose steering wheel, and rolled the inner front fenders to clear the wider tires. Photographs showing the condition of the undercarriage can be seen in the image gallery below.
The Porsche CoA can be seen above, confirming the colors and options.
The Carfax report shows no history of any accidents and corroborates mileage with eight odometer readings from February 1991 to July 2017. No records from previous owners exist aside from the original maintenance booklet with stamps from dealer services. Records from current ownership date back to 2006.
